NapoleonCat is one of the most popular tools for social media content management. As part of its marketing efforts, the company offers its clients – both regular and prospective – educational and ready-to-use content which it posts on various platforms.

One example of such content was a PDF prepared for Valentine’s Day 2023 that contained the most popular hashtags and an overview of interesting social media trends.

“With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, we wanted to publish a comprehensive hashtag catalogue tailored for social media specialists and managers actively involved in executing seasonal campaigns. We wanted to offer a collection of the best hashtags for the occasion, along with valuable tips and tricks for seamlessly managing social media campaigns. What challenge did we want to address? Our audience understands the importance of delivering engaging content for their marketing efforts, but they often don’t have time to do thorough research, or enough experience to efficiently plan and execute their campaigns. To lend them a helping hand, we came up with a comprehensive guide packed with hand-picked hashtags, aiming to ease their workload and minimise the stress of campaign planning.”

Step 1: Research

Before we had got to writing, we extensively explored the hashtag lists provided by the client. We conducted detailed research and carefully selected compelling examples of content associated with each phrase to describe in separate hashtag sections.

Moreover, the PDF spotlighted key features of NapoleonCat. To ensure accuracy, we studied descriptions and watched videos discussing the tool’s features.

We also asked the client for a list highlighting NapoleonCat’s best solutions for Instagram content creators.

The fact that we were able to ask the client specific questions about the tool helped us ensure that the description of NapoleonCat’s key features was accurate.

Step 2: Writing the guide

Our analysis and the seamless collaboration with NapoleonCat allowed us to deliver a comprehensive, enthralling guide in just 5 working days. We received the project brief on Wednesday, 1 February 2023, and sent the final and reviewed version of the text on Tuesday, 7 February 2023.

First, we sent the client a draft version of the guide, which they liked a lot. Then, we worked on implementing the small adjustments they had recommended, making sure that the file contained annotations for the client’s graphic designer.

While creating content, our copywriter curated examples of illustrations and photos from Instagram that matched the hashtags mentioned in the text, offering inspiration to the graphic designer who worked on the final version of the PDF.

Once the materials were ready, they were handed over to a reviewer whose role was to proofread the guide and make sure that it was error-free. After this final step, we sent the file back to the client.

Conclusions

The final text comprised approximately 2,300 words (or around 14,000 characters including spaces) and featured specific Instagram post examples. The client designed the final version of the PDF, which became an integral part of their lead magnet campaign.
